About Us
Learning By Faith Counseling, LLC (LBFC) is about the preservation of relationships. We aim to foster the best possible environments that allows individuals to thrive. It all starts with love and respect within. The goal is to cultivate your beliefs through faith in positive energy, emotional vulnerability, and the willingness to be better. Relationships should be positively conducive to all parties involved. LBFC strives to encourage healthy conversations that promote happiness, peace, growth, and favor.

Scale
The white scale represents balance. The color white embodies purity and new beginnings. In relationships, all parties involved have to carry their own weight to achieve balance while also letting go of past transgressions in order to move forward.
Bridge
The blue and green bridge represents stability and support. We chose blue to signify trust and commitment. Meanwhile, green symbolizes steady growth and prosperity.
Our Counselors
Antonio Givhan - Professional Counselor - MS, ECMH-E, ALC
Rebechia Givhan - Professional Counselor - MS, ECMH-E, ALC
as Associate Licensed Counselors, we are under the supervision of Dr. Carmela Drake, SC3153.
The Givhans are both highly educated counselors with experience in Education from Early Childhood Development to Adult Counseling. When they started LBFC, they initially focused their works in lower income areas. They have arisen from similar circumstances and felt empowered to give back to an often overlooked community. The Givhans are strong in their faith and are empathetic to people from all walks of life. They are now expanding their efforts to reach anyone engaging in the pursuit of happiness.

Compassion for Others
We are motivated in helping people find the right path to happiness. As human beings, we have to be connected to someone or something in order to feel a sense of purpose. Tragedy and triumph play vital roles in the way we perceive life and relationships. The world is larger than your state of being. We want to keep the lines of communication fluid so even if you cannot walk in someone else’s shoes, you can at least appreciate their path.
Learning By Faith Counseling, LLC is here to open our minds and hearts to your well-being. We are only the first step on a journey that ends with completeness as its destination. No one needs to do it alone and we feel as though you should not have to.
